چکیده
Aureobasidium pullulans, popularly known as black yeast, is one of the most widespread saprophytic fungus associated with wide range of terrestrial and aquatic habitats. The fungus has widely been employed in production of an economically important polysaccharide pullulan. Total 50 isolates of Aureobasidium pullulans were isolated from different flowers and leaves samples, out of which 10 thermotolerant strains produced pullulan. One thermotolerant non-melanin pullulan producing strain, designated as RS-4, produced highest pullulan (6.5±0.02 g/100ml) at 37C, pH 5.0 in 72h of incubation with 5% sucrose and 0.5% yeast extract in a non-stirred flask fermentation system with working volume 100ml.

متن کاملParticipatory varietal selection of chickpea in rainfed rice fallow lands of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh in India for sustainable crop production
Production and area of chickpea are reducing every year in India due tocompetition with horticulture and other cash crops in irrigated areas. There is a greatscope for expanding chickpea production with or without limited irrigation in rainfedrice fallow lands (RRFL) in the states of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. Nineteenchickpea genotypes were tested using participatory varietal selection (...

Total 95 isolates of Aureobasidium pullulans were isolated from different flowers and leaves samples, out of which 11 thermotolerant strains produced pullulan. One thermotolerant non-melanin pullulan producing strain, designated as RG-5, produced highest pullulan (37.1±1.0 g/l) at 42(o)C, pH 5.5 in 48h of incubation with 3% sucrose and 0.5% ammonium sulphate in a non-stirred fed batch fermentor...

Background: Members of this genus Aureobasidium are ubiquitous microorganisms which can be isolated from wide ranges of substrates such as plant materials (phyllosphere, plant debris, bark, roots, fruits and wood), soil, dead wood, air, and as rare etiologic agent of pheohyphomycosis, keratomycosis, septicemia, peritoneal sepsis, and dermatological infections in human. Very little is known on t...
متن کاملPrevalence of Angle’s malocclusion in sensory-deprived and normal school children of age group of 12-16 years in India: A study conducted in 2016-2018
BACKGROUND AND AIM: Malocclusion has multifactorial etiology and the environmental factors play a major role in the occurrence of a malocclusion. Physical constraint faced by the disabled children may increase the chance of having malocclusion more than their normal counterparts. Thus, this study was done to evaluate the difference in the prevalence of Angle’s ...
